Linda West

Vice President, Business Development

Ms. Linda West is the Vice President of Business Development, responsible for leading the company’s business direction and developing business partnerships and relations while executing  strategies to increase sales and  company growth.

Linda has over 25 years of laser and  optics engineering expertise and a proven track record of developing  sales and marketing multiple products in both VC funded companies and larger defense based companies including Hughes Research Laboratories, Solus Micro Technologies, Ondax Inc., and NP Photonics.

Areas of technical expertise include, MEMS, fiber lasers,  mid-IR DBR lasers, volume Bragg gratings,  wavelength stabilized lasers, tunable filters, phase conjugation and THz  spectroscopy. Linda brings technical expertise combined with a  strength for developing relationships and sales growth.

Linda began her career by doing an apprenticeship in  Optoelectronics  at Pilkington and  has a BSc Honors  degree in Laser Physics and Optoelectronics  from the University of  Strathclyde, Scotland and a Masters  degree in EE from the University of California, Los  Angeles.
