Robert Audoux

Mr. Audoux has developed expertise and knowledge of aircraft, technical specifications, aviation regulations, flight crew & cabin crew work and responsibilities. Since 2008 he is the Director General for the French Chamber of Commerce in Canada – Atlantic Network.

Major-General Andreas Blanos (Rtd)

Major-General Blanos has been assigned in several Signal Corps units, as Deputy Commander, Commander, & Staff Officer. He has served at NATO Allied Headquarters and participated in International Organizations’ missions. Major-General Blanos is the company’s senior advisor on security and defense matters.

Professor Andrea Alù

Over the last few years Professor Alù has received several awards for his research work, and with a Ph.D. in electronic engineering he advises MTI’s research force in metamaterials & plasmonics, electromagnetic theory & applications, nanooptics, photonics, and acoustics.

Robert Turner

Mr. Turner works with both government and industry on international technology transfers in the fields of seafood, aerospace, solar, wind, bio-energy, pharmaceuticals, hospitality and gaming. As owner & operator of a business development company and a corporate private investigation firm, Mr. Turner is well known for his negotiations with Millbrook First Nation and the Federal Government regarding the Marshall Decision.

Professor Felipe Chibante

Professor Chibante has a wealth of experience in the research and technology commercialization of nanomaterials with the creation of four technology companies. He has comprehensive experience in intellectual property, international import/export, customer partnering, government support, and mentoring.

Professor Vassilis Yannopapas

Professor Yannopapas is an expert in metamaterial technology, nanostructures and novel optical and photonic materials, known worldwide for his pioneering work in the field of metamaterials and photonic structures. He advises MTI’s R&D team on the research strategies of the company.

Professor Emeritus Hans-Dieter Reidenbach

Professor Reidenbach focuses on non-ionizing radiation protection, optical physiology & psychophysics. His research team measures the effects of lasers on the eyes, and verifies that all of MTI’s filtering products eliminate the health impact of lasers on humans.

Mona Power

Mona is a senior corporate development and strategy leader with over 20 years experience across a broad range of industries. She has led strategy development in early stage, high growth and mature companies and has extensive experience in M&A; corporate restructuring; post-merger integration; divestitures; new market development and new product introduction.

Professor Pavel Belov

Professor Belov has received two Ph.D. degrees; one in optics from ITMO University, Russia in 2003 and another in radioengineering from Helsinki University of Technology, Finland in 2006. In 2010 he also defended his D.Sc. thesis (equivalent to habilitation) in ITMO University, Russia.

He has worked in academia in UK (2005-2012), Finland (2001-2003) and Russia (1996-present time). Pavel has also earned extensive industrial experience while working for Nokia, Finland (2001-2003); Samsung Electronics, Korea (2004-2005) and consulting at Bosch R&D center in Russia (2008-2009).

Andrew Yick

Dr. Andrew Yick brings to MTI over 6 years of experience growing international engineering teams with particular expertise in photonics and high-speed RF devices. Dr. Yick served in Senior Manager roles at Inphi and Source Photonics where he led successful NPI engineering teams responsible for design verification, reliability qualification, test automation, manufacturing ramp-up and sustaining production. He has also held positions at various high-tech leaders: JDS Uniphase, Newbridge Networks (Alcatel) and GSI Lumonics.
