Jim Dorey

Jim Dorey has 20 years of experience in communications and senior marketing management roles and 12 years of award-winning blogging and journalism. Mr. Dorey also won a Lumiere Award in Los Angeles as a movie producer. He’s worked in senior marketing and product management for software and Internet services across Canada with such companies as Corel, Quest Software, XML Global, Whitehill, and MarketLinc. Jim has a technical background as a Systems Engineer with the Royal Bank at their Toronto head office, responsible for their Wide Area Network and Trading Floor. He also started his own businesses, Alias Earth Inc. where he won Innovacorp’s Spark Competition for creating the world’s first database of virtual location sets, and MarketSaw, an award-winning, online media outlet in the movie industry.
