Judy Coffin

Judy Coffin is a senior quality assurance professional with 30 years of experience advancing quality, health and safety and environmental organizational excellence in a diverse range of industries including offshore oil and gas, aerospace composites manufacturing, healthcare quality accreditation, and maritime sonar, radar and acoustic expendables within the UK and Canada. She has been engaged in the technical side of manufacturing through to the development, implementation, and registration of integrated QHSE management systems. Her responsibilities included reviewing and interpreting regulatory and programmatic guidance, implementation of corporate compliance, risk management and corrective action programs. As a continuous improvement champion Judy’s leadership has represented a positive and enthusiastic role model to ensure high engagement within the organizations she has worked with.

Judy was awarded the CEO Award of Excellence by the Eastern Health Newfoundland and Labrador, Regional Health Authority for her work in developing and implementing an accredited ISO 15189 Quality Management System for the Laboratory Medicine Program that was mandated as a result of the Cameron Commission of Enquiry for Hormone Receptor Testing. Judy holds a Chemical Engineering and Microbiological Technology Diploma from Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology. She is a certified ISO 9000 Lead Auditor and has completed extensive training in ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 14001, ISO 16949, ISO 15189, and ISO 45001 standards.
